Resonance

As the episode starts out, Sora's Kyuubi cloak grows the second and third tail, which Yamato makes a worried comment about. Ino, Shikamaru, Chouji, Lee, Sakura, Kiba, Akamaru and Azuma are just starting at it, shocked at what they're seeing. Kazuma however, seems to be enjoying himself, and Naruto is giving Sora a very compassionate look.

The OP theme plays, with new clips from the upcoming Shippuuden movie; Bonds.

Naruto is sweating, since he both worried about what he's seeing. He then runs towards Sora, screaming out his name. Yamato and Sakura tries to stop him, but Sora attacks Naruto with his right hand; sending him right into the wall of the crater. The others ask if he is alright. He stands up, and says that he refuses to believe that Sora's consciousness is gone.

Back with Kazuma and Azuma, Kazuma is saying that Sora has already lost control, and that no one can stop him. Azuma gets angry at him, and readies himself for an attack.

Yamato uses his Mokuton no Jutsu on Sora, covering him in wood. However, Sora quickly blasts all the wood away like it was thin paper, and Yamato comments on his destructive force. Naruto then comes from above, telling Sora to stop, but Sora whips him into the ground with one of his tails. Naruto is lying on the ground, and Sora prepares to finish him. However, Shikamaru uses his Kage Kubi Shibari no Jutsu (Shadow Neck Bind Technique) to restrain Sora. However, he loses his breath quickly, and Sora breaks it like it's nothing. Choji then charges with his Multi-Size Technique, but Sora stops it easily, and sends Choji flying. Sakura then says "leave it to me", and starts to heal him. Naruto tells Sora to wake the heII up, but Sora extends his right arm towards Naruto.

Kazuma and Azuma is still fighting, and Azuma asks him why he, Sora's father, would put the Kyuubi in his own son's body; making him a killing machine. He then cuts Kazuma's staff. Kazuma jumps away, and says that it was all for the sake of duty, and that Sora will live on as the man who carried it out. He then finds a set of metal claws alike Sora's, puts it on his left hand and sends chakra through it.

Back with Sora, Naruto is blown away, and Lee decides to charge at Sora. However, his kick is blown away by Sora without him having to move. Kiba and Akamaru then charges, using the Gatsuuga. However, it has no effect at all, and they are blown away.

Azuma says to Kazuma that he has no honor, but he replies that it's his honor to ensure that the Fire Country remains at it should, and that how he accomplishes it is irrelevant. Azuma then asks: "what about Sora's honor?", but Kazuma counters by asking about Azuma's pride as the Third Hokage's son. He continues by saying that he protected the king, just as Azuma did. Azuma admits that he is right in the fat that he is protecting the king, but it's not the king that Kazuma is thinking of. Kazuma says that that only proves his point that everyone are just pawns for the kings, no matter what king it is. He continues by saying that everyone's duty is laid out before them, and that that is the reason for why he made Sora the way he is; he is merely a pawn who will advance into enemy territory until he becomes king. Azuma then charges at him, and says that children are not simple pawns to protect any king. Kazuma then says that since they've come so far, the two should have a match to see whose king is true king, and he seems pretty self-confident.

Sora is wreaking havoc with the Konoha ninja, leaving Sakura and Ino to heal them. He breaks Yamato's Mokuton no Jutsu easily, too, and Naruto only stares at the fighting. He then remembers when Kiba, Akamaru and Choji fought against him and Sora earlier, and brings it up; how they were all acting like idiots. After dodging an attack, he uses the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu, covering Sora in clones. He quickly blows all of them away, until the real Naruto is the only one left. He is holding Sora's shoulders, ignoring the pain from his fingers being burned. He then screams out Sora's name, and tells him to come back.

The scene then shortly switches to a blue place, with Sora lying alone.

The others are telling Naruto to get away, but he won't budge from his position. He is still screaming out to Sora, trying to bring him back, but it doesn't have an effect.

Suddenly, a Kyuubi cloak surrounds Naruto as well, surprising everyone. Yamato seizes the opportunity to use the Hokage Shiki Jijun Jutsu: Kakuan Nitten Suishu, but he is unsuccessful in drawing out the Kyuubi chakra, which surprises him. Naruto is telling the Kyuubi not to come out, but he soon grows the Kyuubi features; long fangs, sharp nails and red eyes with thin pupils.

Kazuma, who has pushed Azuma into a corner, says that coincidence can be funny sometimes. He remembers what Fuuka said after figthing Naruto; he was somehow similar to Sora. He then says that the Kyuubi chakra from Sora is resonating with the real thing, and that now the real Kyuubi itself will go on a rampage and destroy the village yet again. He then laughs with an evil laughter.

Naruto and Sora are now fighting; both in their Kyuubi cloaks. Sora's skin is now beginning to peel off, revealing the malicious chakra underneath. A bright light suddenly starts to emit from him, and Chouji asks what it is. Shikamaru says that this isn't good, and that everyone should run for it. After the bright light disappears, Sora has completely changed into a Kyuubi form; with four tails. Naruto is telling him to snap out of it, but Sora pushes him away, sending him flying. Kazuma then says "good boy", to Sora, and tells him to keep it up and destroy Konoha.

Naruto's skin is starting to peel off as well, but he won't let the Kyuubi take over again; telling it to stay in its cage and not to pop up whenever he feels like. Sakura asks Yamato if there's anything they can do, but Yamato says that there isn't, since his techniques didn't work. He proceeds to say that all they can do now is trust in Naruto's willpower.

Inside of Naruto, the Kyuubi is asking Naruto to leave Sora to the Kyuubi. Naruto, however, takes up a piece of Sora's metal claw his pocket, and drives it into his knee, to keep consciousness, doing his hardest to keep control of his body. He says to the Kyuubi that he made a promise not to let the Kyuubi take over his body. The Kyuubi tries to persuade him, but Naruto says that he will take Sora back with his own power.

Back in the blue space, where Sora is lying, Naruto's faint voice is heard, and Sora asks who it is.

Naruto is fighting fervently against the Kyuubi, and telling Sora to come back. His Kyuubi cloak suddenly vanishes, and the places where his skin had peeled off are now burned skin.

Inside another blue space, which is a bit brighter than the other one, Sora asks: "who is there?" He notices that it is him when he was young, when he was alone; always crying. He hears Naruto's voice faintly, and asks who it is. Suddenly, all the monks are standing in front of him, looking at him with mean looks. He then says that he knew it all along; he's alone. However, he suddenly hears Naruto's voice clearly, and a light shines in front of him.

Back outside, the Kyuubi lets out a loud roar, as if Sora is fighting against it. Naruto then tells him to wait for him, as he is coming to save him now.

The dark blue space is shown again, with Sora asking "Whose voice is that?"

The ending theme plays.

The next episode preview is Yamato talking about whether or not Naruto sacrificing himself is enough to reclaim Sora's mind.

There is then a small preview of the new Shippuuden movie, Bonds.

In the special report, Sakura mention all the times the Kyuubi's chakra has appeared: When they fought against Haku in the Wave country, when Naruto summoned Gamabunta for the first time, when Naruto beat Neji in the Chuunin Exams, against Gaara when he attacked Konoha, and when fighting with Sasuke. She says that the Kuyybi's power helped him many times, but that it's not real strength, and that if he relies on it too much, he might end up hurting his friends and himself. That is why he's trying to stop Sora with his own power
